Graduation card

I was asked to make a graduation card by the same person who wanted the silver wedding card.  The request was for a black and orange card in a box so here it is.

I made an easel card and this is the front when laid flat.  The tassel should be downwards as in the next pic!!

This next picture is the front and inside.

The whole of the inside is next.

Finally, the box.

Having just looked back at the pictures it looks a bit busy but it doesn't in real life.  I hope she likes it!

Silver Wedding Anniversary card

I started this card by making the ribbon flowers - I used two different ribbons for the larger flower and one folded in half for the smaller.  I stamped and embossed the flourish onto white hammered card then layered it onto silver.  The layers are raised on 3d foam pads but you can't tell that from the photo.

25 Happy Years

The weekly challenge on UKs was to use a punch, numbers in the title and hidden journalling. FIL brought me a photo he'd had printed from our Wedding Anniversary BBQ on saturday so I thought I'd use that even though for last weeks weekly challenge I used a similar photo. Actually, I'm not sure I've put that on my blog so I'll put the 2 up together.

and last weeks challenge.

Chillin'

I've been playing along with scrap factor on UKs and it's now the final.  We had to scraplift on of the finalists layouts and I chose the one by Sutty called Beach Treasures.
Here are a couple of close ups.

This is what love looks like

When I saw this picture on Facebook of Adam and Lucy I knew I wanted to scrap it.  I converted it to black and white but I'm sure at some point I'll scrap it again in colour:)

My type of shop

The new scrap map from Creative Craft World can be found here and this is my interpretation.  Some of you may or may not know that I am rather partial to red spotty items:)

We found this shop in Bideford and I felt like I was in heaven.

Saturday Scrap Map - Seaside

The theme is the beach so I used these pictures taken at Woolacombe at the beginning of June.  I used an acetate overlay over the the pictures and kept it all very simple.  The shells in the top corners are stamped and cut out and cover up where I attached the acetate to the paper.
