Dashing through the snow

When we went tobogganing on Boxing Day, I bought two of the photos that were taken of us and I have used one of them for this page for the UKs weekly challenge.

This was the criteria for the challenge:

Looking back to the third week in February 1863, a committee was started that eventually became the International Red Cross. For 5 points each, use a cross and the colour red.
On February 17th 2013, the actor Richard Briers died. One of his most popular series was “Ever Decreasing Circles” . For 10 points use a circle or spiral.
This is the final week of the Sochi Winter Olympics, so for 10 points use one photo, or more, of an outdoor activity.

I didn't mange to use a cross but if I'd thought about it a bit more, I probably could have Lol!

I used lots of stickles to highlight the alphas :)

I've already done a page with the other photo

I used the same paper range and  similar sketch as they will sit next to each other in my album but I didn't want to do a double page spread.

I have also finished my nephew's wedding stationery - nothing fancy like Adam's but then I didn't have the same amount of time.

Just a simple gatefold design with some hearts cut out on the front showing the gold card underneath and then some cards to go in with the invitations with accommodation/RSVP/presents info on.
I still have the evening invitations to do and then nearer the time, place cards, table plans, favours etc.

The Everyday

Here is my page for the weekly challenge on UKs.  I haven't done any journalling because I am hoping that this will form part of my February paes of Project Life.  However, although I have taken photos and made some notes, I haven't actually gone any further so will probably end up adding a journalling tag to this at a later date!

I also have a card to share:

I made this for an elderly neighbour.

Perfect End

I'm trying to get back in to my crafting rhythm but it's a slow journey.  Anyway I've managed to do the monthly challenge over on Uks where we were given a colour palette to work to.  These are the colours - gorgeous aren't they?
and this is what I came up with  a picture of the sun setting on New Year's Eve.

It looks like I have used pink card for the background but it really isn't!  It's more coral.

I've also done the weekly challenge set by my lovely friend Sue and this was her criteria:

In summary, for 10 points each:
♥ frosty or snowy photograph(s)
♥ blue and white colours
♥ sparkling glitter/Stickles/bling
